During the planning process, our consultants begin with an interview in order to capture the essence of your lifestyle, hobbies and interests. After this initial phase, they combine everything you’ve shared, with their years of experience, and begin the research and design process.
Throughout the process, you will be provided information to help you learn about your destination. You’ll also receive the occasional tip, article, or note. Anything current your consultant may come across that they think will help add to the enjoyment of your upcoming vacation.
Once the research has been done you’ll be provided a vacation itinerary, carefully crafted and designed, with everything about you in mind. If it’s not perfect. You tell us and we’ll reshape until it’s just right. When it is just right, we go out and find every reputable supplier that offers what we put together and lock in the lowest rate.

On occasion your schedule or health my throw you for an unexpected need to cancel your vacation or cruise. This is where things get especially difficult when doing it on your own. Most often, cancelling your trip involves 4 times the effort as planning it. For a nominal fee our consultants will try to negotiate the maximum refund, process all the needed paperwork, track all refunds and credits due and help you reschedule your vacation or cruise if needed. Reservation changes may also become necessary at times. We are happy to take of all the work involved so you can make just one call instead of a dozen (or more).

Splash Vacation and Cruise® will cancel airline tickets, change your ticket, re-book if required and assist you through the maze of processing and tracking your refund or credit. In addition to the nominal agency service fee, airlines may have policies which require added penalties. Our consultants will advise you of possible fees and penalties in advance of your reservation. All other car, hotel or concierge type services typically do not come with a supplier penalty. There is only a very small fe to have your consultant handle all the details along with tracking and dispersing any refund that may be due.

Airline ticket cancel fees based on per ticket. Cars, hotels and concierge services fees are based on per reservation. Change fees are based on per change. Cancellation and change fees apply to agency fees only. Additional fees maybe be required directly by the supplier. As with any booking or reservation, full terms and conditions are available prior to any deposit or final payment to your reservation.

After nearly 40 years in the travel industry, assisting thousands of travelers, we know one thing for sure; “Nobody ever plans on cancelling their vacation.” However, in rare (and always unexpected) circumstances, the financial loss for cancelling can be extensive. Sometimes supplier penalties can be the entire cost of your booking.
Always give travel insurance serious consideration. Our consultants have access to reputable insurance providers that offer coverage for anything from a flight to San Diego to a Safari in Africa. Of course, different types travel insurance coverage’s are available. Always ask your consultant which option is the best for you.
Emergency Travel Services
The service we provide includes full spectrum support before, during and after travel. Our consultants are available all day during the week and from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm on Saturday.
Yet, unexpected inconveniences can happen at anytime of the day or night. That’s why Splash Vacation and Cruise® offers an additional emergency travel service featuring LIVE AGENTS, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
